"Sat" here means the reality of one's existence, and "Nam", Identity. Pretty powerful mantra that one, what we call a seed mantra as it contains everything you need within it. This mantra reinforces the divine consciousness in everyone. It is used as a greeting as well as the main mantra for all Kundalini Yoga exercises, inhaling “Sat” (truth), exhaling “Nam” (name, identity). Yoga is the Sanskrit word for union, it is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in India thousands of years ago. The aim of yoga is to achieve a state of inner peace and ultimately to liberate oneself from the cycle of karma and reincarnation. Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the most powerful yoga there is. It is a Raj yoga, a royal yoga. It gives the practitioner a true and authentic experience of themselves. It gives people the opportunity to see their grandest potential and connect to their higher consciousness. Wow, right? Kundalini Yoga is a sacred technology, it is a tool and a resource for you, to elevate, to uplift, to support yourself to move past the limitations you have of who you are.
